May you prefer short distances and low difference in height or, a contrario, long and demanding paths that can reach up to 1km of difference in height, Ariege contains several itineraries of hiking whose every parameters have been recorded by www.wikiloc.com.

The GR10 hiking network of Ariege, whose parts each take up to the entire day to walk through, is especially recommended as it is the occasion to discover and benefit from the natural hot springs of Mérens Les Vals. These springs constitute actual natural baths for which no development whatsoever has been applied. The access being completely free, they allow the hikers who wander these parts to have an extraordinary stopover in a bucolic setting.
